I am an American engaged to my partner who is British. We are living and working in Perth on a 457 visa. We have decided to get married in Perth. What would be required for this to occur?

My partner Jin Wen Yu, and I, are looking to get married as soon as possible- immediately after the month-and-a-day notification period, If possible. We dont need a ceremony, as the only ceremonial aspects that are important to us have legle documentation if we are to apply for a marriage visa!

The Australian government, however, requires us to have legal documentation if we’re to apply for a marriage visa!
